Due to an overwhelming number of Hummel value request that I receive, I had to close the comments on this page. I get 100’s of value requests weekly and it is very time consuming to reply to every request. If you couldn’t find the value of your Hummel on the Hummel Value Chart you may want to consider getting a copy of my Complete Hummel Price Guide. I have made the guide free.

The average retail price for Your Hummel is $150 a Fair market price (auction price) would be about 1/3 ($45). Condition of the Hummel, date, and current market condition can affect the value of your Hummel Figurine.

Germany underneath (I researched this and found it means it is from 1960 – 72)is this correct? I has a number 87. The other is a holy water font with two angels, #146. It appears to be old, as it has the old fashioned W. Germany marking. Again perfect condition. Thanks!
Hi Liz, Hummel Figurine #146 is Holy Water Font, Angel Dust. Values for this Hummel vary depending on the date stamp of your Hummel figurine. I have included prices for all the date stamps. These values are retail values. Auction value can be as low as 1/3 of the retail prices. With any auction the prices can also be more depending on the rarity of the Hummel. Ebay prices can be even lower. The number is the date stamp. These prices are based on good condition. If there is any condition issues or repairs the price will be much lower.

I have an Hummel Font. It is approx. 4 1/2 in. tall and is a wall hanger. It shows a child ( or maybe an angel ) picking a flower with flowers in its other hand. It was given to my mother in 1941 by her godparents. It has Germany printed on it as well as the number 9. Etched in it are the number 206., MI.Hummal. in cursive, and the c w interlaced with the wings. I would like more information about this piece.
I believe this is Hummel Figurine #206 “Holy Water Font, Angel Cloud” if from the time period you described it’s retail value is $350 – $500 (USD) Auction value $100 – $225 (USD).
Linda says:I found your website and thought you could help. We have 2 Hummel figurines but I have no idea how much they are as. I cannot tell what trademark they have. Would you be able to help? The first is Sound the Trumpet, and it has all original packaging and documentation. The box says Hum 457, 01-457-01-9, #303, 7,5 cm/3 inch The second is Serenade, again with all original packaging but just a card for documentation. The box says Hum 85/4/0, 01-085-40-6, #413, 7,5 cm/3 inch. Both are in flawless condition – basically have been in the box and in storage since the 1980s. The boxes do have a little bit of wear on the corners from storage. Thank you for your help! I truly appreciate it.
Hi Linda, Hummel 457 appears to be a 79-90 trademark, and its retail value is 140 – 145, auction value is 60-80.
Hummel 84 appears to be a 79-90 trademark retail value is 130 – 135, auction value is 40-70
My grandmother has collected Hummels since the 50’s she has approx. 17 Annual plates starting with the first one what would these be worth? She passed away and we are looking to get our Hummels priced. My mother thinks that 1971 was the first year they started the plates.
Hi Brian, Can you tell me what years your Hummel plates are? Thank you,They start in 1971 and have the progression of 17 years 71-88. All are in great condition. Also, my mother has a very large collection of peices. How could we get the numbers to you to appraise them? Do you have another e-mail address we could send the information to you when we get it all gathered?
Katrina Espie says: Hi,I have a M.J. Hummal with a No. 126 above the name M.J. Hummal and the V with a bee and W. Germany “under” that marking. Towards the right bottom of the piece is a black “m” looking letter. The piece is of a boy and a girl leaning out a window with the boy holding a red flower and a flower box with 4 panes and red flowers in the flower box at the bottom of the window. Do you know the value of this? I have looked and can not locate this particular piece. Thank you.
Rosalyn says:Tonya, I have a similar piece that I can’t find anything about. The flower box on my piece has five “panes”, and there are shutters on the open window with heart cut-outs plus white curtains behind the children with red flowers. It has ’25’ next to the left of the MJ Hummel on the rectangular bottom (it’s a plaque and has two small holes drilled at the top for hanging – one inch “frame” of porcelain around the children). There is a small stylized bee on the back and ‘Western Germany’ stamped in black. Also, ’47’ is indented in the porcelain by the bee imprint. Any info on this piece?
Brian H says:I hadn’t heard from you about the plates thought I would ask again dates are from 1971-1988. We also have a large list of Hummels but we haven’t yet looked at all of them. Who would by them if we were to sell them in the next month or so?
Hi Brian, These plates sell at auction on average from $30-120 (USD) per plate. The average value is $30-60(USD). eBay prices will be about 1/2 of the auction value.
Carol Briggs says:HI, I have just came across a set of 10 1929 “The Waverley Encyclopaedia – of general information” books. I do not know much about them and I was hoping someone would be able to tell me anything about their value, as I haven’t been able to find out much about them. If anyone could help then that would be great. Thankyou.
Hi Carol, Unfortunately these books are not of much value about $25-45. Most old encyclopedias do not retain value. Cheers,
Korin
I have a Hummel which I believe is called Brother, although it has a very old sticker on the bottom that somebody has labelled “our hero”. The boy is wearing a jacket that looks greyish and streaky rather than the solid blue ones I see on similar figurines.
The Hummel name is engraved on the side of the base, and there is a number 95 engraved on the bottom, with what looks like a letter u painted beside it. The funny thing is that the only other marking on the bottom is a faintly engraved marking etched into it that I cannot clearly see at all – even with a magnifying glass. I have looked at old Hummel markings and I’m not able to tell if it’s similar. There is a very large hole in the middle of the base so would have been hard to mark.
This Hummel was purchased by a family member probably in the 1940’s.
Any idea of the value, and why the marking is so unclear?
Thanks very much!
Hi Nancy, The estimated retail value of aa 40’s HUM 95 “Brother” Hummel figurine is. $700 – $800 auction value would be around $350-$400. These estimates will vary with condition of the Hummel figurine. As for the markings being so unclear I am not sure why this has occurred. The hole in the base does it look original to the piece or could it have been broken at some point? Cheers,
Korin
Hi Tonya, Can you please email me a picture of your Hummel figurine. You can email the picture to [email protected] . Cheers,
Sandy Burinda says:I have a pair of Hummel lamps with the number of 0224 and 0225 on the bottom. I did not see them on your website. Are they of value?
THank you
I recently inherited my mother’s collction of 203 Hummels. Most are pre-would war 2. They were appraised in 1976 at over $100,000.00. I’m interested in finding a reputable, insured broker to aid me in liquidating the collection. Thank you, J…
Hi J.D. I can suggest a few good auction houses to sell your Hummel figurines at. I will just need to know the nearest major city you are located by and in what country. I can also help with any information you may need or question you may have with the auction process. You can email the information directly through the contact form on this page. Cheers,
Korin
@Nancy I thought you might be interested in this information. It will tell you a little more about why the markings on your Hummel are double dated. Some Crown Marks have been found that appears twice on the same piece, more often one mark incised and the other stamped. This is known as the “Double Crown Mark”. Sometimes you will also find an earlier trademark as well as an older trademark on the same piece. This has been done because the figurine piece was fired during a trademark transition period. The figurine was fired under one trademark but was not painted until the new trademark was implemented. “Double Marks” such as these are considered to be the latter mark and are appraised as such
Hello! Korin I was just wondering how someone as affluent as you in Hummel Art would not take the time or consideration to assess a request. Perhaps you are so confident in yourself it would not accure to you what that means to another human being.
“Double Crown Marks” are what they are as you so eloquently put it in your paragraph.
A doubled over figurine # is completely differant. An example would be (#.94 with 82 over it)
To put it this way let me correct you; a “Doubled Over Stamp” is a “major deviation” unlike a “Double Mark”.
Remember that as much as one would like to rewrite history; there will always be someone to stand-up against lazy misconsiderations of the wise.
Korin,
I inherited two Hummel figurines from my step father. The one (#195)I found with no trouble on your chart, but I can’t find #203. Can you help with name and approximate value? THANKS!
Susan
Have a few hummel figures that belonged to my mom buti would like to know about one. It is no 123. its two boys linking each other. the unusal part is that at the bottom it is signed by copn w. goebel. thanks
aileen
@Aileen Without knowing the age of your Hummel figurine I can only give you a range estimate. HUM 123 “Max and Moritz”
Value of this Hummel can be anywhere from $279 to $800 depending on the year made. These are retail values. At auction you will usually see 1/3-1/2 the retail value. Cheers
Thank you very much for your reply. I have looked everywhere on the figurine but i can not find a date. On the base at the back behind the two boys legs there is the name m j hummel engraved as well as the othr markings i already told you about. Is there some way i can tell the date so that i can get a more accurate value? I have another piece i would like to ask you about? Its a candle holder with three girls sitting around in a circle. One is playing a guitar–an accordian–a trumpet. The no is 37. It has the blue v with the bee in blue “ink” and beside it – it has the same marking engraved into the base. Around the side of the base is engraved m j hummel. Again i can not find a date anywhere. Again i appreciate your help. regards aileen
@Aileen You can use this Hummel age guide to date your Hummel. Hummel did not put dates on there figurines till the 1990’s (this date refers to when the artist completed painting the figurine) All Hummel(s) have a back stamp on them. This mark is usually on the base of the Hummel figurine. I am researching the value of Hummel number 37 I will let you know the value shortly. Cheers’
aileen griffin says:Hello again. I must say that you are very informative. I looked up your hummel age guide and mu hummel marking for the two boys (no 123) appear to be the 1950s. either the first or second diagram on the left side. with that in mind could you perhaps give another shot at narrowing down the price range? By the way i live in Ireland and not much is known around here. My candle holder appears to be around the same time but the it has germany writen in black on this one(no 37). Again i appreciate your knowledge. Aileen
Cathy says:I bought a Hummel today and it says Hab’ was Gutes and Sweet Freedom on the back of it. After doing some research I believe that on Sweet Freedom she should be holding a flag and on Sweet Treats she should be holding a cookie. On the bottom it has the flag with special edition on it. It is also signed if that makes a difference. Anyways is this indeed Sweet Freedom or could this be a mistake of Sweet treats and Sweet Freedom? Any help would be great. Thanks so much, Cathy
@Cathy
This ornament is a US only variant called “Sweet Freedom” and was released in June ’04. it has the girl holding the flag and a SE US flag backstamp. This was priced at $59 at its time of sale.
I have a Hummel that I found in my Godmother’s things. It is a Holywater font with a child (Jesus?). It has 2 stamps…one from the 1935 era and a V with bumblebee from the 1950-1955 era and it has the #167 on it. Can I get some information? Thanks!
@Molly,
This is Hummel 167 ‘Holy Water Font, Angel with Bird. Your figurine has 2 datestamps on it because it is a transitional piece. The blank figurine was stamp in the 1935 era and the finished piece was stamped with the 1950-55 datestamp. The retail price for this Hummel figurine is approximately $75.00 (USD)
I have a 1942 Ars Sacra Hummel of a girl holding a doll. It has both a B Hummel and a Herbert Dubler stamp on it. Where can I find its value? None of the price lists I’ve seen include Ars Sacra.
@Janet, Is there a number on the bottome of this figurine? Janet says:I also have a boy similar to the one at the top of this page- taking a big step forward, umbrella in the right hand but a dog is on his left side. It has the M I Hummel stamp on the top of the base but no V mark on the bottom. There is an ink stamp that says Made in Germany and a tiny number stamp that is hard to read but might be 01 or 61. I’ve seen this figure on Ebay called “Striding Along” but the face and position of the head are slightly different on mine. The raised portion on the bottom is an oval rather than a circle like my other MI Hummels. Is this a counterfeit or could it be a very early MI Hummel? It looks older than my other ones. Also, I don’t find “Striding Along” on any price lists.
@ Janet, This Hummel is Hummel #7 it is called Merry Wanderer. There are many variations of this Hummel figurine. I would need to know the size of this figurine and the age to give you a accurate value. The value has a huge range for this Hummel, anywhere from $125-2000. Without seeing a picture and knowing some information I can not give you an estimated value. Cheers
Ryan N says:Hi! I have recently inherited a small collection of Hummels and would really appreciate some help in pricing these fine pieces. They are Berta Hummels made by Claus-Peter Wahner for Goebel:
#1 – “Fetch” with COA #A965
#2 – “Surprise Encounter” with COA #A692
#3 – “Tugging At Your Heartstrings” with COA #A383 Any help is greatly appreciated!
@ Ryan, These Hummel names and numbers do not match. Is there any other numbers on your Hummel figurines? These numbers should be on the bottom of the base along with a Goebel backstamp. You can use my Hummel age guide to help you find the age of your Hummel figurines.
Marie says:I have a hummel #86 of a little girl hholding a basket with one hand and a flower with the other. the bottom has a stamp of a v with a bee on top of it and the word germany below. Can you tell me it’s value
@Marie, The approximate retail value for Hummel figurine #86 ‘Happiness’ is $125.00 (USD). Stephanie says:My mother has a small painting signed by Hummel. She would like to know it’s worth. It shows a boy and a girl sitting on a fence. He is playing the flute whilst they are looking at some resting sheep. Can you tell me anything about the value? Thank you!
@ Stephanie, Unfortunately these paintings do not have much value. They are worth about $25.00 (USD) on average. Cheers,
Loraine says:I have a hummel # 80, i believe it is a little boy and a little girl standing under a big umbrella. The boy is holding a walking stick.
@Loraine, The Hummel number 80 is a different Hummel then you have described. Can you please check the number on the bottom? Cheers,
I have an Exclusive Edition club piece called “I Wonder”#241. Could you please tell me the value of this piece.
@ Toni, Hummel ‘I Wonder’
Retail approximate value is $300.00 (USD)
Auction approximate value is $125.00 (USD) Cheers,
I have a Hummel, but I have looked and looked and can’t find any information on it. It’s an angel in a red outfit and is a candle holder. On the bottom, it says “Gra 259”, has the Goebel marking and has “1965” on it. Can you help me?
@Cheryl, From your description this sounds like it maybe a Goebel figurine not a Hummel. Goebel used the same backstamp for their Hummels and Goebel figurines till the 1990’s. Cheers,
Doreen Hilse says:I have several Hummel figurines that I cannot seem to locate the value of, #239 (smaller figurine)
#374 Lost Stocking
#110 Let’s Sing
#769 Bird Duet
#129
#15 2/6 Thank You
@Doreen, I will need to know the age of these Hummels. You can date them by the backstamp on the bottom of the figurines. You can then compare the stamp to the following age guide. Hummel 239 has a A-E version each one is a different Hummel. Cheers,
sharon kelly says:I have a (rubber?) Hummel doll that my uncle bought for me in the 1950’s when he was stationed in Germany. She’s about 12 inches tall and is wearing a brown and white cotton dress with a white apron and brown cloth shoes. Any idea as to its value? Thank you!
@Sharon, I am not sure of the value of this doll. I would advise consulting an Hummel specialist. You can also consult an auction house for an estimate of value. Cheers,
Terry Georgio says:I have a Hummel # 111 with a blue (V) on bottem and M.J. Hummel on back of figurines base, W. Germany marking, with date od 1938 on bottom. This piece in perfect condition. Can you please tell me the vaule of it.
Thank You
Terry Georgio
Hi There I have a Hummel Figurine APPLE TREE GIRL # 141/1 4″ Tall.
It also has what looks to be a number stamp 75 on it.
But the thing thats getting me here is the STAMP. It’s a Blue V with a bee and then under it it says germeny, but in front of it there is no (W.) I am not able to maek out what it is. But it looks like a round circle, or a blue round cylinder shape to it. Any help with this?
@John, After the war they stopped using the W. in front of the Germany. As for the mark you are describing I would need to see a picture of it. You can email one to me at [email protected] . Cheers,
Korin
@ Bruce,
This Hummel comes in a variety of sizes can you please tell me how tall this Hummel figurine is? Cheers,
Korin
I have a Ars Sacra Hummel with the date 1942 on it and the foil stamp on the bottom. The figure is of a boy sitting down with his legs straight out in front of him and a bird is sitting on his shoes. It is approximately 3 inches tall. Can you tell me the value. Thank you,
Jennifer
@ Jennifer, There should be a number on the bottom of the figurine. Can you please tell me what number this is? Cheers,
Korin
There is no number on the bottom of the figurine. The bottom is covered in green felt and has a foil sticker that reads: Authentic Hummel Figure produced by Ars Sacra made in U.S.A The only other marking on the figure is along the side of the base which reads (C) Herbert Bubler Inc. 1942 Hope that helps
Jennifer says: Ooops, a typo…should say “Herbert Dubler” Jennifer says:Hi Korin, Just wanted to check back to see if you got my post regarding the lack of a # on my figurine. If you have any idea what it might be worth, I would love to know. Thank you,
Jennifer
Hello I was asking you about a hummel back in may. I sent you a photo as you asked; Just wondering if you have had a chance to track it down, Thanks Aileen
@ Aileen, Hummel 123 ‘Max and Moritz’ Trademark 2 estimated value is 250 Cheers Jolene says:Interesting reading! Can you tell me anything about the clear glass bookend Hummel figurines? I have the Goose Girl but there is no number or marking. Are these just rip-offs? Thanks!
@Jolene, There is a line of crystal Hummel figurines but I do not see Goose Girl on the list. This does not mean it was not made by Hummel. The avg. price of these figurines is 40-60 (USD) Cheers,
Marsha says:Hello. I hope you can help me. I have a hummel with, I believe the number 56/0. It is a little boy with rabbits and a basket. I cannot seem to locate this number. It is stamped with a v with a bumblebee and w.germany. Thank you.
@ Marsha, This is actually Hummel number 58/0 ‘Playmates’ The trademark you describe is TMK 4. Estimated value is 175. Cheers,
ronda says:Hi Korin
I have a hummel that I got from my grandmother. It is marked on the bottom with a2627b and it is a little boy with a boot in front of him and he is putting a fish in the boot. I know nothing of the year name or value. I hope you can help. Thanks Ronda
@Ronda, The number you gave me does not match the Hummel numbering system. Hummel uses a 1-4 digit number that can usually be found on the bottom of the figurine. Please check the number and let me know if you find one. Cheers,
Korin
Did you ever find any information on this figurine. I received the same one from my grandmother and I’m not sure of the orgin.
ronda says:No I did not find any other info on mine. My grandmother is no longer living and she swore it was a hummell. It looks genuine to me but I can find no signatures or anything on it. If you find anything out then let me know and I will do the same. Thanks Ronda
SteveD says:I have several Hummel figurines from my Grandmother and cannot find them anywhere on the price sheets. I was wondering if you could help me find what their worth is: 98/0, 94 3/0, 130, 131 or 171 (girl sweeping a broom), 57/0, 239/0 and 389. I also have 46, 81, 82, 111 3/0, 199/0 as well which I found in the price list. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
christine walker says:Iam seeking information on two Hummel or Goebel bears that i have . one of the bears is in standing position and about six inches tall. it has a mark on its foot of a blue V with a Bee . The other bear is sitting and is about three inches high and on the base it has a blue V with Bee also inpressed in the clay is the initials C.W 33 . Although i have other items of hummel and goebel … i am really interested to find out as much as i can about these two bears . As the detail on them is absolutely superb ! And as of yet i have not been able to find out any think about them although i have searched through numerous items on E. bay and other websites over the past five years . Any information whats so ever would be most welcome . Thankyou
@ Christine, These sound like Goebel figurines. Goebel used the same trademark for Hummel and Goebel figurines until the 1990’s. The 33 should be there figurine number. Is there any other numbers on the bottom of the figurines? Cheers,
Korin
I have already submitted a question .. but forgot to add the 12 to my email address . And am there fore going to send my question in again.I have two bears of either hummel or goebel origin … the first bear is standing up and about 6 inches tall on the base of its foot there is a blue V and a Bee . on the second bear which is in a sitting position and approx 3 to 4 inches tall there is a blue V and a Bee and impressed in the clay is the initials C.W 33 any information at all on the said two items would be welcome as i do have other items of hummel and goebel . but these two pieces really interest me and i have not been able to get any information on them for the past 5 years .
Chrissy R says:Hello again! I also have 2 hummel collectors plate. “Squeaky Clean” and “Little Musicians” and I’m trying to find if they are worth anything. Thanks for your help! Chrissy R
Chrissy R says:Hello. I think i made a mistake of one of my posts. 🙂 I needed help finding the value of a Nativity hummel figurine. It has Mary holding baby jesus on a donkey, she is wearing a blue cover. the trademark has the “V” by W. Goebel and W. Germany code Rob 405/A. thanks for helping out! I enjoy looking at your answers here! Chrissy R
@ Chrissy, There are 4 Hummel Nativity sets. I will need the number off the bottom of the figurine to identify which one this is. Cheers,
Korin
I have three wooden figurines that look like they should be Hummels until you realize they are wood. Sizes are approx. 5 inches, they are children, colors are subdued like Hummel colors. What are these? I know they were purchased by my mother-in-law in Germany (has German price tags on bottom). They would have been purchased in ’70s or ’80s.
Hi Paul, I have not heard of wooden Hummels. There is always a chance they are prototypes or they could have been made to resemble Hummels. Hummels where very popular and reproduced in may different ways. Is there a number on the bottom of these figurines? Cheers,
paula toms says:the only thing on the bottom is the price and I would bet it is in German $. I am fairly certain they were purchased in Germany and you are probably correct that they are prototypes. Thanks for responding.
I just recieved a Hummel from my grandmother that passed away. I had never even heard of a hummel. It’s a girl with her hands in her pocket and she is just standing there. The number on the bottom is 95 43. The 95 is larger than the 43. And there are no / marks. Can you give me an idea about this hummel? Amy
Hi Amy, Can you tell me how the figurine is dressed? Is it in winter wear or summer wear? Cheers,It is in Summer wear. I guess. It has on brown shorts and a blue jacket. She also has on boots and a hat.
Did you find anything out? jim morin says: boy in apple tree …its a lamp…number 229 and 230…girl one also Korin Iverson says:Jim, The price on this lamp vary greatly from trademark to trademark. I would need to know what trademark you lamp is to give you a accurate value. You can use this age guide to help you with this information. Cheers,
Sam L. says:My wife just received a 1938 Hummel “let’s sing” with a full bee. I believe the numbers are 110/0. Could you tell me the value? Thank you!
Sam
Hi Sam, The Full Bee trademark started in 1950. If this has a full bee if would be from 1950-1956. Hummel 110/0 ‘Let’s Sing’ $125-150 (USD). Cheers,
Ron clark says:i have a hummel that has a number 204 it is a little girl with a basket and flowers can you tell me anything about it please
Hi Ron, This is Hummel 204 ‘Weary Wonderer’ Without knowing the date I can not give you a value. You can use the age guide on this site to help determine the date your Hummel was produced. Cheers,

Hello, I found a hummel #332 called “Soldier Boy” that my parents had in a desk at their house while we were cleaning it out. I’ve looked in guides online, but it doesnt appear to exist. I have no intentions of selling it, but i would like to know its value since i do have many other collectibles as well. Thank you for your help!
Hi Doug, Hummel 332 ‘Soldier Boy’ does exist. I will need to know the age of the Hummel before I can give you a value. You can use the following age guide on this site to help you. Cheers,
Korin
I have both the umbrella Girl 152/B and the umbrella boy 152/A from the 1950-1955 time frame. The Girl one says 1951 on it, the boy does not, but they have the right Goebel marks, and they were purchased in Germany 1953-1957. From your guide it shows each retail price at $1,750.00 Does that value change depending on how old they are? They are both in very good condition. I do not detect any chips or scrapes.
Hi Ed, The value does change with the age. Also guides go out of date rather quickly due to market changes and the time it takes to produce a guide. Most guides are about 1-2 years behind the current market. With the current market conditions we are seeing about a 40% drop in prices right now. That would put both Hummel 152/A & B trademark 3 figurines estimated value at $750 per figurine. These values should always be used as a guide. Cheers,
Korin

I bought 4 Hummel figurines at an auction but I don’t know the true value. Can you please help? 1) Figurine (small) of a boy with blonde hair wearing an orange (?) scarf around his neck, blue (?) jacket and white shirt, black (?) shorts and red (?) shoes. He is holding a horn in his right hand and a toy horse under his left arm. It looks to have the year 1967, 239/0 with the number 62 sideways in front of it, and the number 691 or G91 written in black, & Germany, all on the bottom of it. 2) A boy with brown hair that has the bangs coming to a point looking up with a red scarf around his neck, a blue jacket with a white-ish shirt, black shorts with suspenders or bibs, blue socks, & black boots that tie, holding a stick under his right arm and a basket in his left arm. On the bottom is the year 1967 with the number 51 3/2 and an N off to the left under it (W. Germany). 3) A boy with dishwater blonde hair seated on a green stoop with a brown fence behind him with a bird sitting on his left on the fence post and an orange (?)flower on each side of the bottom of the fence. He is wearing a brown hat with a feather on it,red scarf around his neck, white shirt, blue and brown plaid jacket, brown pants, white (?) socks and black backless shoes. On the bottom is the year 1955 and the number 174 (W. Germany). 4) A girl with dishwater blonde hair in braided pigtails and red bows with 2 parts of her bangs swooshing off to her right. She is wearing a dress with short white (kind of poofy) sleeves, black top to the dress and red skirt to the dress, blue (?) socks (uneven), and red shoes that tie. Her left hand is on her chest and she has a basket in her right arm. On the bottom is the the number 96 and off to the right (under) upside down is the number 15 (W. Germany). I hope this is enough information. Please let me know if you need more.

My mom has two Hummel plates she wants to sell. Pleasant Journey and Spring Dance. Really nice plates. She got them from my grandmother. Can someone tell me what they are worth and how I can sell them for her?
Hi Judy, The avg value of Hummel plates are $35.00(USD). You can sell them on eBay or a site called Ruby Lane. Cheers,
Korin
I just inherited a collection of 40 hummels from the early 80s, 3 collectors plates and four rubber dolls. how do i begin to find a place to sell them? I already took the two I wanted, including the “bookworm”. Thanks.
Hi Tracey, With this many Hummels I would suggest using a local auction house. If you where to eBay them it would be a lot of hassle with shipping and packing. If you need help finding an auction house in your area please let me know. Cheers
What is the difference between M.I. Hummel and M.J. Hummel figurines? I have a TMK 3LS Heavenly Angel and a TMK 3SS Merry Wanderer with a stamped 64 on the bottom and both of them are stamped with M.J. Hummel. After researching these for weeks I am more confused now then when I started. I checked out a book that is called “HUMMEL” AN ILLUSTRATED HANDBOOK AND PRICE GUIDE by KEN ARMKE but I think it only goes up to 1995. How can I find the value of these? PLEASE HELP! Thank You.
Hi Joe, There is no difference it is just the I looks like a J in the signature. Hummel 21 Heavenly Angel TMK 3 Approximate value is $200 (USD)
Hummel Merry Wanderer I will need a little more information on it. There should be a number 7 or 11 on it can you tell me which on. If not then can you describe the Hummel to me as it might be a different Hummel. Cheers,
Korin
Hi Korin, Thanks for responding. The Merry Wanderer has a 11 2/0 with a 64 ingraved under and to the side of the above numbers. I am trying to sell these for an 83 year old lady friend of mine who is like a grandmother to me and want to make sure she gets what they are worth. I listed the Merry Wanderer on ebay with a reserve of $125.00 it seems I am spending my money to try and sell them. Do you have any suggestion on how I can sell them or who may be interested in them. Thank You again, Joe
Hi Joe, Hummel number 11 2/0 ‘Merry Wanderer’ TMK 3 fair market value is about $100.00 – 150.00 (USD). I personally do not like to sell items on eBay. When selling on eBay you can expect to sell your items for 1/4-1/2 of the estimated value. You can try a site called Ruby Lane. I personally have not sold any items there but I do browse the site for items to buy. If you need further help please let me know. Cheers,
Korin
Hello, I have inherited a complete collection of Hummel plates (1971-1995) and was wondering the value. There are no boxes, but all plates are in good condition with only 3 or 4 having small (less than 1cm) chips, mostly on the edges. Thanks.
Hi Jesse, The avg value per plate is $25-35 (USD) the ones with chips will be 25% lower in value. Cheers,

Hi Donna, Is this a Hummel painting? Cheers, Corinne says:Hi, My grandmother left my sister and I her collection of Hummels. I saw your chart of how to tell the age, and I also found a chart that tells the suggested retail and value, but how do you find the Hummel’s name, in order to look up the value? I guess I’m looking for a book or a site with pictures and corresponding names. Thanks,
Corinne
Hi Corrine, There is a number on the bottom of the Hummel figurine. Goebel uses this number to id the Hummel. You can get my Complete Hummel Value Guide which is listed by number and includes the names and values for all the Hummel figurines and other Hummel products. Cheers,
Korin
I have a hummel from, i think, the early 60’s. West Germany, from when my aunt lived there. It’s a little boy? with an instrument–like a guitar-type thing. He’s wearing a blue outfit with red polka dots. Do you have any information on this? Thanks!
Hi Theresa,
I believe this is Hummel Number 53 ‘Joyful’ TMK 4 if it is from the 1960’s. Estimated value is $45.00. Cheers,
Korin
I have three hummels, they are angels each 2 1/2inches high. They each have a small birthday candle sized holder next to them. One is blowing a horn.she has a blue v with a bee inside, its wings are lower then the top of v. stamped on the bottom with Germany in black underneath the v and bee. 1/40 is etched into her legs with a 0 under it. The next one is playing what looks like a mandallin or some string instrument. she has the same markings. but without the etching. The third playing an accordian with the blue v and bee inside it The bees wings are level to the top of v and next to the v is W Germany in blue. She is etched with 1/39/0 on her underside of legs. Can you tell me anything about these angels? How much they are worth. Thanks so much

Hi Korin,
I hope you can help me! I have a M.I.Hummel Merry Wanderer Plaque, I am confused by the markings on the back! There’s a 92 at the top, in the middle there is a raised ceramic diamond shape and the most confusing part is the ingraved signature a scripted M. I. Hummel, a copywrite circled c, a line_____________, with 1938 and it was stamped with the V and the bee with another copywrite circled c, W.Goebel and West Germany, all tiered and an open circle cut out at the bottom. The problem I have is I was told the scripted signature, the 92 & 1938 from the 1935-1949 time period (it does not have the W overlaying the G), but the V with the bee is 1964-1972 time period. I have tried to research this but can’t find any others to compare mine to. One email I got back said That it is considered a rare signature stamped Hummel but did not know the worth? Help Please!
Thank you, Allegra Kelley
Hi Korin, Just wondering if you ever were able to identify and price the “Merry Wanderer” plaque by the pictures I emailed you? Thanks, Allegra
